Danstick

Thank you for choosing the Danstick application – hereinafter referred to as the Application – to capture the most important events of your baby and pregnancy.

Danstick is a photo editing application available on mobile phones/tablets – hereinafter referred to as the Device. With the Application, you can enhance photos on the Device with various stickers containing dates, captions, shapes, and text boxes.

You can save the edited photo to the Device using the download function within the Application, and you can share it through various messaging channels using the share function.

Your data protection is important to us, so we ask you to read the following Privacy Policy before installing and using the application.

Terms

Data Subject: Any natural person identified or identifiable based on any information.

Identifiable natural person: A natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly, especially based on an identifier such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or factors related to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of the natural person.

Personal Data: Any information relating to the data subject.

Special Data: Any data falling within the special categories of personal data, i.e., personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health, or data concerning the natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.

Consent: The data subject's voluntary, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes, by which the data subject, either by a statement or by clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.

Controller: The natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, who or which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes of the processing of personal data, makes decisions regarding the processing (including the means used), and carries it out, or has it carried out by a data processor.

Processing: Any operation or set of operations performed on data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction of data.

Data Processing: The entirety of operations performed on personal data by a data processor acting on behalf of or under the instructions of the controller.

Processor: A natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, who or which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Data Breach: A breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

Recipient: A natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, to whom or to which the controller or processor discloses personal data.

The Controller, in accordance with Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, and other data protection regulations, respects the protection of personal data and the principles regarding their processing.

Application Permissions

After installing the Application, the Application requests permission from the user – hereinafter referred to as the Data Subject – to access the photos on the device. Access to other data stored on the Device does not occur. Granting permission is voluntary, and if the Data Subject does not consent, the application functions cannot be used. In the case of a mobile phone/tablet Device, the Data Subject has the option to:

The Application accesses photos only on the Device and does not send them from the Device.

Based on the above, the Controller does not engage in the processing of personal data (especially in collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, altering, using, transmitting, disclosing, restricting, erasing, or destroying data, taking photos, audio or video recording, etc.) or utilize a Data Processor in connection with the use of the Application.

Legal Remedies

The Data Subject may request information regarding data processing and data security, to which the Controller is obliged to respond within 30 days.

JLegal remedies, complaints can be filed with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (www.naih.hu) and, if necessary, through legal proceedings.
